Chapter 36

The Dauntless soldiers are running towards Tris and my adrenaline is sky high. They fire at her, but luckily they miss. She snaps. "They killed my mother." My heart gets sad every time I have to remember that. POOR NATALIE. She shoots back at them and hits one evidently as there are only one set of footsteps remaining. But as she turns to face her pursuer, it's like a freight train hits her. It's Will. It's him or Tris. Tris has to live.. She is the only hope. Poor, poor Will. And Christina.. If she finds out, she is going to be heart broken. Oh dear, when does the agony end?!

FINALLY, she makes it to the building that lucky Abnegation members are taking shelter in. She's reunited with her father and Caleb. It is such a happy moment during such a horrendous tragedy. They briefly discuss the information they know and there are even a few heart felt words from her father. (Audience: AWH!) But now that she in a sheltered area, her wounds need to be tended to. As if being shot isn't enough, I guess it hurts even more to have the bullet taken out. My mind went off on a tangent and now I'm stuck here wondering what would happen if you left a bullet in you? Would you die? Would it get infected? Wait. FOCUS. There are more important issues at hand. Keep it together Sonya.

Oh no.. Now Tris has to tell her father and Caleb the tragic news. This would honestly be the hardest thing in the world for me to do. There is no way I would be able to see the expression on their faces after finding out their beloved mother, or wife, is now gone. But they take it surprisingly well, probably because they are still in survival mode. Of course, since we are all well aware of the fact that this book is Satan himself, the bad only worse. Who other than Marcus himself would be in the shelter with Tris. He tries to be a know it all and  Tris totally shows him up. Serves him right. Time for another one of Tris's ever-famous plans, right? She is going to need all the help she can get.

"I'm factionless now."
"No you aren't. You're with us."
